First acts announced for Hevy Music Festival 2012

US noisecore exporters Converge and recently reformed
Will Haven lead the announcement, with Canadian shredders Protest The Hero, and Verse also confirmed
for the event from 3-6 August 2012.
The Chariot, A Wilhelm Scream,
Deaf Havana, Deez Nuts, Trapped Under Ice, Set Your Goals, Pianos Become The
Teeth, Balance And Composure, Sharks, Last Witness and Crocus
have also been confirmed for the Hevy Music Festival line up in 2012.
Last year The Dillinger
Escape Plan, The Bronx and Funeral For A Friend all played the event which takes
place at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent.
Returning for it's fourth year
Hevy promises more than 80 bands playing everything from rock to hardcore, punk to metal.
Weekend tickets with
camping are priced at £96.
